Up late after all the early starts on the tour, and had a big cooked brekky at the hotel. Picked up a rental Pulsar again from Budget. Drove through town to Indo marine and saw a living coral reef in a tank. The day was hot and humid. There were US and Australian warships on exercises in the harbour, and I sat on the balcony and watched helicopters and landing craft going to and from the ships. Drove out and picked up chinese for dinner. There were many US sailors in town.

Saturday was up a bit earlier and down to the Aquascene in Doctors Gully to hand feed the fish at high tide. I was standing in the water and hand feeding bread to some quite large fish which come in each day for a feed. Just made it to Maccas for brekky in town. It was full of US sailors and I managed to get the last hotcakes before brekky menu ended. I had a walk through the mall and bought a couple more souvies. Drove to the airport and dropped the car. A couple of fighter planes, maybe Harriers were ahead of us for takeoff as the airstrip is shared with the RAAF base.
